Because equipment
used for screening your checked baggage will damage your undeveloped
films, you should put your undeveloped films or camera with loaded film
into your carry-on baggage.
If you
are still concerned, you may request a hand-inspection of any undeveloped
film. Remember multiple screening of your undeveloped films (more than 5
times) by the X-ray machine at the passenger security checkpoint may cause
damage.
Film that has already been processed will not be affected by either
machines used to screen your checked baggage or carry-on baggage. Also,
digital camera images will not be affected by either machines. |
Carry-on Baggage
is a small piece of luggage you take onboard the airplane with you. You
are allowed one carry-on bag plus one personal item such as a laptop
computer, purse, small backpack, briefcase, or camera case.

Checked Baggage
is luggage you check in at the ticket counter or at curbside. It will not
be accessible during your flight. |
