Passenger's Rights
If you have your plane tickets, you have your passenger's rights
too. Passenger's rights are listed in your airlines legally binding
"contract of carriage". You can find "contract of carriage" in your
airlines website even though some times it takes time to locate it.
For your convenience, we listed below direct links to some airline's
contract of carriage pages.

Customer Service:
In addition to passenger's right, you may also want to look into
airline's commitment to customer service. Here are some issues you
might want to look.
- Flight delay or cancellation. According to
Bureau of Transportation Statistics, on-time flight arrivals in
top 32 airports in 2002 was about 81%. Were you ever in a
situation that your flight was delayed for a long time or
canceled? If the airline is responsible for the delay or
cancellation, their commitment to customer service is very
important. So, it's worth to check out what the airlines will do
for you if the flight is canceled or delayed.
- Involuntarily bumped. Airlines have a long
history of over-booking passenger seats. If too many people show
up for the flight, airlines will ask volunteers to give up their
seats and fly on the next available plane. In exchange, airlines
usually offer a big discount or sometimes even a free flight.
However, if no one volunteers, somebody has to be bumped
involuntarily. So, check out what can be done if you are
involuntarily bumped.
- Your rights regarding lost or damaged luggage.
